Annual VWC Church Picnic
When: Saturday, August 10th
Where: Lake Wilda (289 Wilda Road, Stuarts Draft)
Time: 3:30-7:30 PM
More Info: Enjoy swimming*, a water slide, boating, fishing, volleyball, kickball, corn hole, hiking, a playground for the kids*, and great fellowship! Meals and drinks provided. Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets.
*Swim at your own risk. Lifeguards are not available. Parents, you are responsible for your children’s safety and behavior. Please do not leave them unattended.
Baptism Sign-Up
When: Saturday, August 10th
Where: Lake Wilda
More Info: Baptisms will be held at our church picnic on August 10th. If you would like to be baptized, sign up HERE.
Promotion Sunday
When: Sunday, August 4th
More Info: We’re excited to welcome our new 6th graders to Junior High in 71:5 Youth! Our rising 9th graders are headed to Senior High, and our recent graduates who are staying local are a part of GenNow Young Adults and Adult Services on Sunday.
Promotion Policy for Kids:
- Children advance to the next class based on their birthday.
- Students turning 6 can move to Champions or wait until 1st grade.
- Students entering 6th grade can stay in Conquerors or join the youth group.
- Students who are not in 6th grade but will be 11 by September 30th can stay in Conquerors or join 71:5 Youth.
- Students who stay in Conquerors cannot attend youth services or events.
- Students who join the youth group cannot attend Conquerors services or events.
WOW Ladies Fellowship Brunch
When: July 20th from 10:00 to 12:00 PM
Where: VWC Café

Prayer Meeting
When: July 21st @ 6:00 PM
Where: Hospitality Room

71:5 Youth Olympics
When: July 28th, after service until 3:00 PM
Cost: Free (lunch provided)
Sign-Up Deadline: July 21st
More Info:
- Competitions: Participate in both individual and team events to compete for bronze, silver, and gold medals.
- Challenges: Engage in activities that test both your physical abilities and mental sharpness.
- Team Spirit: You’ll be placed on a team and receive team colors to wear on the event day. Teams will be posted on our social media pages the week before the event.
SAW Style Clothing Closet Underwear & Sock Drive
When: June 30th – July 28th, 2024
Where: Hallway between the sanctuary and church office
More Info: Help us provide essential items to those in need by donating new underwear and socks for children from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Culture Builders
When: July 28th, following Second Service
Where: VWC Sanctuary
More Info: Learn how to impact culture and government. Lunch and childcare provided. If you plan on attending and/or signing up for childcare register HERE by July 21st.
Believers Training: Starting August 21st
When: Wednesdays @ 7:00 PM

More Info: Are you ready to dig deeper into the Word of God? Come join us in focused study on subjects essential for the believer to be “thoroughly equipped.” Child care is also offered during this time. If you are interested in attending and purchasing the reference books, register HERE.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
When: Tuesdays @ 10:00 AM
Where: VWC Sanctuary
More Info: Pastor Ray hosts an interactive Bible study on Tuesday mornings at 10 AM in the sanctuary and on Facebook Live. Send your questions to be addressed during the study!
